So it's connected to the router with "no internet, secured".- Up to 10th Gen. I rebooted my router just in case and still no go. I know the router is working because I'm using it right now on my Mac. Now a new issue has come about where, while I can see my wireless networks and connect to it, there is no connection to the internet. Just as I as running the Killer diagnostics per above, Wifi adaptor magically came back. Ensured the power saving setting was off in Device Manager.
Then this afternoon came back from sleep and WiFi was gone again. I tried a few things and nothing fixed it then it just started working again.Ĭame back from sleep this morning and a few times yesterday just fine. Happened yesterday for around 20 minutes. It is gone in device manager unless i "show hidden". For me it looks like I lose the Wifi adaptor after waking up from sleep mode, but not always. Just got my GS63 two days ago and am having a similar issue with the 1535. If this still doesn't work, contact online technical support and they'll help to kick Microsoft or Killer.

Maybe you can try the original driver from MSI official website. If it only happens after a period of time, then it's definitely Windows problem because it always constantly updates itself as long as you're online, no matter there're bugs dead ahead or not.
If you recover the whole laptop, and immediately use the Wi-Fi once the setup procedure is complete, will the issue still persist? What's your Windows version? (Run winver.exe) I had several times of network problems before even on older E2200 LAN and Intel AC 7260 of my laptop, just after several days from the installation of Windows 10.Īnd I finally managed to resolve it by several times of uninstalling/re-installing (it's illogic, but just working now). I guess it's the Windows 10's network problem, not Killer, because Microsoft is constantly updating Windows 10 architecture sneakily without any notice. Did I just get a lemon network card? Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I thought I would try MSI to see if they were better but i'm extremely frustrated that they would use a network card with known issues for a gaming laptop. My previous two laptops were ASUS and had no issues. Nothing works, the internet connection still drops randomly and takes a minute or two to restart and show back up in my list of networks. I even tried downloading the updated version of Killer's bloatware that came with the laptop to see if that could fix it. Turned off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
Uninstalled the network adapter driver via Device Manager, then let windows reinstall the driver after restart. Updated the network adapter driver via Killers official website. I searched online for solutions and found that the network being dropped like this is a known issue with the Killer 1535. I have never experienced this issue until I turned on my computer, and if I don't use my computer and just use my phone, tablet, old computer, etc. The issue is 100% not my router or modem. What happens is every 15 minutes to an hour my network connection shuts off and completely shuts down both my 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz networks. Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT my Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1435 Wireless Network Adapter. I purchased this past week a GT72VR 6RD gaming laptop.
